IWD2021 - The Manifesto
For International Women’s Day, I volunteered my time to help create the “We are Not a Stereotype” campaign for This Way Up Podcast. ‘We are Not a Stereotype’ was created to bring greater awareness of the unique challenges women experience, highlighting the impact of gender inequality in the workplace and to drive this subject back on the agenda.
Focusing on the powerful Manifesto written by Rebecca Rowntree, I help create the film entitled ‘We Are Not a Stereotype’ to mark International Women’s Day 2021, featuring 38 prominent women from the design and creative industry, including Debbie Millman - world renowned designer & podcaster , Pip Jamieson - CEO & Founder of the Dots, Vicki Maguire - Chief Creative Officer at Havas London, and Laura Jordan Bambach - President & Chief Creative Officer at Grey London and Co-Founder of SheSays.
My role within the project was Art Director, Designer & Video Editor. In under 3 weeks we put together this campaign, which has been featured in publications such as It’s Nice That, Creative Brief, AdWeek, The Dots, Little Black Book, BITE, and more.
